After seeing Matt Chevy’s post earlier today about #Reverb10 I was immediately interested in the opportunity. This initiative invites participants to share thoughts and/or images based on a daily prompt. I enjoy having my blog, but admit posts can become infrequent. I find it difficult to schedule my posts, but rather post when a topic inspires me. And then doesn’t it always seem that work and hectic days interfere? I am excited about the challenge to take on this schedule and share my daily insights.
December 1 One Word.
Encapsulate the year 2010 in one word. Explain why you’re choosing that word. Now, imagine it’s one year from today, what would you like the word to be that captures 2011 for you? (Author: Gwen Bell)
My past year has been comprised of a lot of learning, from moving out on my own to celebrating my first full year in the “real world” to seeing one of my rocks take a stumble. In reviewing the experiences, one word came to mind: learning.
My 2011 word? Transition. I may take a lot from my experiences, but when it comes to changing along with them? I know I can always work on that. Learning is only the first step. Being able to keep moving along with the changes is how to truly grow from the experience.
Can you sum up 2010 in one word? Does a single image define your 2010?
