December 2 Writing.
What do you do each day that doesn’t contribute to your writing — and can you eliminate it? (Author: Leo Babauta)
For about 2 hours a day, every day, I spend my life in the car. Considering I’d like to keep my job, I don’t know that I can eliminate my daily commute ; ) It does often stand in the way of my writing. I keep a notebook in my car and try to jot down topics of interest, but that’s not always the easiest task.
I have worked to turn the time I do have into a positive. I look at that daily drive as a way to meet new people. I’ve been able to take my online connections offline by chatting with people I’ve connected with on Twitter and through reading blogs. And these conversations inevitably lead to plenty of content for my blog. I look forward to meeting more people and learning about them past 140 characters and blog comments.
Thanks for the suggestion, Wendy! Maybe I can make a last minute add to my Christmas list. I appreciate you chiming in.
