When my sister's boyfriend visited Chicago during the holidays he joked about how he had never seen so much snow (being from the South) and questioned whether the stores would be left with any bread or milk. We all stared at him puzzled to find out southerners stock up on the necessities any time a storm hits. Well, my sister has been hit with 8 inches of snow in South Carolina. She was advised to get my milk and bread for the winter storm that was ahead… apparently she was too late. This photo was taken at a Greenwood, SC Walmart on 1/11/11.
